St Vincent De Paul

Our Vision

The St Vincent de Paul Society aspires to be recognized as a caring Catholic charity offering "a hand up"  to people in need. We do this by respecting their dignity, sharing our hope, and encouraging them to take control of their own destiny.

Our Lady of the Rosary Conference was established in Alstonville on 8 December 1978. There are currently 14 Conference members who aim to respond to calls for assistance "in a spirit of justice and charity to help those who are suffering." Emergency assistance given relates to the needs identified, in consultation with the Client.

Vinnies Centre, located at 25 Commercial Road Alstonville, is staffed and maintained by volunteers. Profits from the Centre are used to support the work of the Society.
