Pastoral Council

The purpose of the Pastoral Council is to further the work of the Church by fostering the spiritual growth of parishioners and leading them to respond actively to their universal call to mission.

There is a strong sense of community and lay involvement in the administrative and pastoral life of our Parish while leadership is provided by members of the Parish Pastoral Council.

The Pastoral Council meets the 4th Wednesday of each month (December/January excluded). A summary of the meeting is published in the Alstonvoice each month.

Members of the 2009/2010 Council are  Paul Gill, Kate Nestor, Jenny Dwyer, Margaret Loker, Helen O'Loughlin, John Griffiths,  Des O'Toole, Jan Boyd; Megan Beaumont, Sharon Hermann, Joe Pereira, Father Frank Mulcahy, Sister Anne Hughes and Therese Seymour (ex-officio).
